End of the trip —>>> 8th October

On the way back to bangalore , there was  loud music , mimicry, dance and it was really good , i fell asleep but later , got up to mimic vinay , suhas , eshwari…..

Siddharth was really good with raka taker act, which he had done earlier in munnar too…..

We reached Bangalore around 8.00 a.m. , and syril was the first one to get down – bommanahalli .

The trip was really good and it was a very good experience …..

Guruvayoor…

We all were back by 11 a.m. (after visiting dutch island) , then we were presented with 2 option’s – guruvayoor or athirapalli falls …

Our option was Guruvayoor as many were eagerly waiting for this place. According to story the krishna idol here , is 5000 years old…..

We reached guruvayoor around 5.30 p.m. (not to mention that there was loud music and dance on the way) , first thing what i did was to buy a dhothi when i reached there as i didn’t bring it with me (as you cannot visit this temple without dhothi ) and this temple ,  actually had a metal detector which visitor’s have to pass through ,  before entering into temple and no picture’s allowed , and also , as we left all our belonging’s in bus itself , so , not many picture’s and i don’t even have a picture of outside view of the temple . Vinay(M) taught me how to wear dhothi as i didn’t know. Vinay koodavalli’s dhothi was like some silk saree – that voilet colored dhothi with golden border on both side’s , one of it’s kind ( indeed unique )…

Even siddharth’s and  bharath ‘s style of wearing dhothi was unique, a belt on dhothi so that , it doesn’t fall off  ( ha ! ha !!!) , they resembled dhoni in that pepsi ad for chennai super king’s …

Now many had not taken bath in morning , so , they went now to nearest pay and use bathroom. All girl’s went to wear saree.  So ,  we ( me, vinay,  syril, sandeep and suhas ) went to visit temple , rather than waiting for other’s and thank god , that we didn’t wait as we had no queue to enter while all had to wait in queue for 1 hour ( those who came later , actually all  except five of us ).

The temple was  huge , flooded with earthen lamp’s all over , and was looking beautiful. The experience was really very good and also as we came a bit early than other’s so we properly visited this temple , unlike suchindra temple – where bus already started when me and suhas came running on that burning road …..

After we came back , we did some shopping. Me, vinay n shruthi went to a restaurant (very good – the best in the trip) but before we could have anything , i got a call from dhananjay that we were late and bus is leaving – come soon !!! I just want to know , as it is the last destination of our trip , why are they in a hurry ??? No answers !!! Great !!!

We came running back to bus , when we were coming , we noticed that many were going now for shopping and many had not come till now…..

But anyway , we were back in the bus and later had dinner  then headed back toward’s Bangalore…..

The last night of the trip…………………….

7th October —>>> Kochi {8:30 am}

Last day of the trip, and as i already mentioned that we didnt do anything except for chatting and  boating  (big boat ,which many were calling cruise ,  Why ? cause it was written on it) more like a big boat but no cruise, it was really good, with two floor’s – later the ground floor became dance floor .  We visited 2  islands and saw some really old dutch places, 108 year old boat ( snake boat ) , then worship place for irish people called synagogue , many beautiful painting’s depicting the history of that place , then also had been to dutch palace , which has been turned into hotel now…

All were dancing , i mean the usual group , later siddharth too joined them followed by raka taker…..

Syril didn’t dance today , though  many forced him to dance , but i’ve a video in which he is dancing , which i’ll try to upload…..

6th October -> Kochi

As we left munnar very late (around 12 noon) , so we reached cochin late. We reached cochin at around 8 p.m. , and by the time we relaxed and fresh up , it was 9 p.m. , and almost all shop’s were closed. So we did nothing but boating in cochin , i felt , we could have skipped this place as we didn’t do anything here. Next day i.e. 7th october , we went in a big boat to visit dutch island, it was good but we missed Athirapalli fall’s and i heard that it was amazing and superb (from my I.S. friend’s – who also organized the same trip later).

We got the best accommodation in cochin , room was really good as compared to other places , my room mates were  sandeep, suhas, syril n neelkantha – Grand Residency Hotel . We had load’s of fun in room as sandeep was imitating syril’s dance last night. Later i too joined him. Neelkantha was not there as he was teaching girls to play card’s. Even rakesh , bharath , siddharth n vinay had come to our room and as it was our last stay in the trip so, we were chatting till 1 a.m. and had lot of fun…

6th October -> On the way to Kochi

On the way , we visited some waterfalls and it was really good and we had visited this before while coming to munnar but this time , we spent a lot of time here…

5th October -> MUNNAR

We reached munnar around 10:30 a.m. , but we didn’t get room’s and they told it will be available by 12 noon. So, meanwhile we went in jeep for sight seeing…

First we stopped at rose garden …

Many of us didn’t go in and we were roaming outside and taking snap’s till other’s came back. Then we stopped in middle to see tea estate and again there was a photo shoot…

Then we stopped to buy tea powder, home-made chocolates, etc. There was a lake and i wanted to go for boating but due to heavy rush , we didn’t go…

Then we went to echo point. There’s was boating here also , but we (me,suhas,syril) didn’t go as other’s told – we can go for boating from some other place – (… and we never went for boating …) .

Sandeep was bitten by a leach near echo point n was wounded .

We went for boating (@ Kundale Lake ) , it was already 4.45 p.m. and boating closed at 4.30 p.m. So, we didn’t go for boating. I was irritated as i really wanted to go for boating . Then while we were going back , again jeep stopped on the way as other’s wanted to take photo’s and it was around 6 p.m. , when we reached back to room. Another problem cropped up as there were only 4 rooms and all had to accommodate, nobody had taken bath , i was feeling yuck ( due to that kovalam beach and it’s irresistable smell ) and me n vinay were troubled the most as we shifted three rooms before we finally got the room to sleep.

At around 10:00 p.m. , we all went for camp fire . Initially , few were dancing and later all joined in ,  I didn’t join , even k00duvalli was dancing  and … and … and … best dance award goes to syril ….. all of us had never imagined that syril ( pappu can dance !!! ) can dance so well ….. His dance with shruthi was talk of the trip … He was teased so much that night and sandeep even enacted his dance next day @ cochin !!!  I don’t have those pic’s as they are in suzy’s camera and i’ve to take it from him …

Even suzy danced but those pic’s are with vinay and i forgot to take them. So i will post those pic’s as soon as i get them …

Ritesh was among the first to start  the dance and was really good . Even muniraju was a surprise package and bharath’s mind blowing dance – hopping as if got some spring in his shoes !!!

Ya ! Even vinay n sowparni’s dance was  good on the song – “dus bahane” , they were also among the first one to start the dance .

Sandeep’s dance was equally entertaining – something like sit-ups and rotating hand’s …

Then in the morning , many got up late ,  so we left munnar by 12 noon . Our next destination was Kochi…..

Again dancing and loud music , but i was sound asleep. We also stopped at two water falls’. One was cheeyappara fall’s at around 7:30 a.m. and i don’t know the name of other one but i ll describe about it later as we visited that fall’s again while going to cochin. Here i am posting some pic’s…

Anantha padmanabha temple -> 4th October

At around 8:30 p.m. , we reached anantha padmanabha temple , this was the first temple where we had to wear dhothi , this was also a very old temple (syril mentioned that it’s 5000 years old) . I can’t say much about this temple as i didn’t go in , instead me, DJ n shruthi went to roam around the city. There was a big entrance in front of temple , which led to M. G . road, Tiruvananthapuram (what a name – i think trivandrum was cool and a better name than this) . There was a railway station too nearby. Me , DJ n shruthi  searched for a good restaurant , but but we couldn’t find a good Vegetarian restaurant. Later we got nothing but a sandwich to eat n lay’s …..

We left Trivandrum around 11:00 p.m.

Our next destination was Munnar…

4th October –>> Kovalam beach {4:00 p.m.}

Initially i was a bit reluctant to get into water as i was thinking about my clothes , that bad fish smell , bathing facilities , etc but later went in….. We all had load’s of fun here , and also quite a shocking experience as we had to take bath with only n only 10 or 20 other’s , quite an experience !!!

4th October —>>> Suchindra Temple

On our way to Thiruvananthapuram , we visited Suchindra temple (tamil nadu) around 2 p.m.

I had never visited such a huge temple, having so many god’s , it will definitely take minimum of 3 hours to visit the whole temple properly …

Some facts – Suchindram temple is unique in the whole of India in that it is dedicated to three different deities represented by one image in the sanctum and is called Sthanumalayan (Sthanu-Shiva; Maal-Vishnu and Ayan-Brahma) kovil. The temple is rich in sculpture and architecture,  exquisite art of hundreds of years old.

There are more than 30 god’s here. The main being – 18 feet high hanuman idol , neelakantha vinayaka and mata anasuya temple. The entrance tower to this temple is visible from a distance as it rises majestically for 134 feet.

Also me and suhas were asking all these stories about the idol’s there , and suddenly we realised that all had left except two of us .  When we came out of the temple , we saw the bus had already started and was moving  (mohan n ritesh were searching for us)  , we ran on that burning road , quickly  got into bus and then were moving toward’s kovalam beach…..
